Lost in diet culture

Lost in the moment...but not in a good way.

You're 'there' but you're not really there.

Life is unfolding before your eyes. And yet you're in your head.

A jumbled brain of diet culture.

Food rules. Good vs bad. Calorie counting. Worrying what the scales will say, what others will say. A glimpse in a mirror ruins your day.

It's exhausting and frustrating.

So much guilt. Shame. Confusion.

You are not alone in feeling this way.

It feels like it should be simple. And it’s not.

You've grown up in a world of diet culture and unlearning takes time. There's so many layers to un-peel and thoughts to navigate.

It’s ok to ask for help.

You have been doing the best you can, to take care of yourself, with the tools you have.

And perhaps now it's time for some extra tools?
